FANTOMEX MAX 1 of 4
Tony, my local drug dea… I mean, retailer, didn’t give this issue high marks. But I’m willing to give it a try for a character I enjoy. Especially since I’m not overly enamored with the current Uncanny X-Force series.

JLA EARTH 2 DELUXE EDITION HC
Good timing on DC’s part releasing this while Forever Evil is going on. The current incarnations of the Crime Syndicate can trace their “origins” (especially in design) back to this Grant Morrison/Frank Quitely ogn even though the concept itself is much much older (from Justice League of America 29 dated 1964). The DC animated movie Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths is also based on this story.

MYSTERY SOCIETY DELUXE HC
From IDW, this Steve Niles series is a fun read. It’s also the series that started the spotlight on the artwork of Fiona Staples for most people. I’ve known of her artwork since Markosia’s Done to Death in 2006, but the interiors in this collection and covers on DV8: Gods and Monsters, T.H.U.N.D.E.R.Agents, and elsewhere are what led her to Saga.

THE WITCHING HOUR oneshot
These Vertigo anthology oneshots are usually a good investment. Previous titles include Time Warp, Ghosts, Mystery in Space, Strange Adventures, and Unexpected.
