Created by Joe Casey and Nick Dragotta for the 2011 Vengeance mini-series, my first exposure to the character of Miss America Chavez comes from the 2013-14 Young Avengers Marvel Now series. The above images are all pulled from Young Avengers issues 7 thru 15. While the series itself tried too hard to appeal to its intended demographic, it at least gave me an appreciation for this character, her backstory, powers, etc. I would be for an ongoing series with the character, so long as Marvel paid attention to the needs of a character named Chavez by hiring some latino creators to develop her story.
