  1. I liked this set of issues quite a lot. There were lots of surprises and twists and the time travel shenanigans weren’t enough to hurt my brain yet. In particular, I liked the relationship that’s building between Ike and Jade. Whether it develops into something romantic or just remains some kind of cautious friendship, I like how the relationship lets us see different sides of the characters.
And I thought this was a good time to kill off Zoe. I had kinda grown tired of her by this point in the series, and figured that since she was an original cast member that we’d be stuck with her for the remainder of the run. So I was pleasantly surprised to see her shot through the chest (especially since I thought the issue seemed to be pointing towards Hunter being the one to be killed off).
I found the next year or so of the series to be a bit of a chore to get through (for lots of different reasons) so I’ll be curious to hear your take on them.
